The mountain area
We are located in Vang in Valdres, where the inland climate meets towering western mountains.
Our domes are in Jonskør at 1150 meters above sea level - in a mountain area at the very entrance to Jotunheimen. The mountain area is private and therefore has a very untouched nature around it with multiple mountains and fishing lakes. Here you are not in a hectic or crowded area - and it is more likely that you will meet a reindeer in the mountains than another human.
In our domes you will find an information booklet about all the trips we recommend and the way to the various fishing lakes. There will also be maps available.

View from Hødntind 1454 meters above sea level. A hike with magnificent views.

View just above Kimbiltjernet. The fishing lake is private, but it is still worth taking the trip to get this view in front of you.

On the way back down from Nøsen - an autumn evening in September.
Information
The mountain area is private and therefore there is no marked trails for the trips, but the area is clear and easy to orientate in. There will be descriptions of fishing lakes and the trips we recommend as well as a hiking map of the mountain area in the domes. In some of the fishing lakes, fishing licenses are needed, but we can help you with this.
For some of the trips, it may be relevant to drive further in the mountains, so that the trip is not too long. From the domes and inwards, the road is in a slightly worse condition than the road up to the domes, so you will need a car that is high up.
If you have questions about trips, fishing lakes or other general inquiries - do not hesitate to get in touch!
